ImportantFilecoin Adjusts Incentive Mechanism and Launches New Products
Filecoin announced three major developments rolled out this month, including adjustments to its incentive mechanism, the conclusion of the genesis token unlocking period, and the launch of new products. Under the new incentive framework, a larger share of block rewards will be allocated to services that bring paying customers to the network, while rewards for consensus mining will be reduced accordingly, with all unearned portions subject to burning. The genesis token unlocking period is nearing its end, which is projected to reduce the daily new circulating supply of FIL by approximately 75%. Additionally, new products tailored for enterprises and AI Agents have been launched, including Integral Spacetime, a new cloud storage platform built on the Filecoin network.
